The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's priced in the middle. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks certain of the more advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.
During testing it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to map your home.
Roomba s9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of the button. You can select an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.
This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It can pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better with future models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an improved filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads scrub floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
It's only downside is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a problem for those who want to own one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves along.
What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden from view, as well as washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something is in need of attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also create or combine actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different floor materials or if there's some items that need to be cleared out regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It can even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend cleaning them off using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you could wish for. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.
The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as a voice assistant that works offline, which means you can use it even if you're not at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of convenience features you don't often see on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. While these features are great however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury and could mean it's a little more expensive than what some homeowners need.
It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish highlighted by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, there's one button that serves as the on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
